Make a positive impact! As team leader you will be responsible for ensuring therapeutic services to families who have a child with additional needs and/or who are enrolled in one of our services.
Koorana Child and Family Services is looking for an experienced Specialist Teacher to lead, coach and support a team of practitioners in the delivery of a quality service that is underpinned by family-centred principles.
You are degree qualified in Early Childhood Education with qualifications and/or experience in special education. Your experience will include the delivery of evidence-based early childhood intervention practices and processes and working with children with additional learning needs in natural learning environments. A solid theoretical understanding of child development and of disabilities and knowledge of the principles of family-centred practice, great communication and interpersonal skills together with the ability to work in CALD environment will contribute to your success in this role. You will also be able to demonstrate the skills necessary to engage, resource and lead teams in multi-disciplinary and trans-disciplinary practice approaches.
