Koorana, as part of the Early Childhood Intervention Best Practice Network, is proud to contribute to sector-wide advocacy to ensure that the needs of children with developmental concerns, delays and disabilities’ are met. In April 2025, the Early Childhood Intervention Best Practice Network has made a submission to the NSW Inquiry into Foundational and Disability Supports Available for Children and Young People in New South Wales.
Our submission highlights the important role of community providers of best practice early childhood intervention services in the future foundational and disability supports available to children and families. It also highlights he critical need for inclusive, timely, and well-resourced support for children and families across the state.
We are grateful for the important work being led by the Parliamentary Committee chaired by The Hon Natasha Maclaren-Jones MLC, and for our ongoing collaboration with The Hon Kate Washington MP, Minister for Families and Communities, and Minister for Disability Inclusion.
Koorana remains committed to working with the Early Childhood Intervention Best Practice Network, our other Alliances, and all sides of government to shape a stronger, more equitable future for all children and their families.
