General Manager – Business Services

We are a community owned organisation committed to the provision of high quality Family Support, Early Childhood Education and Intervention services. Our transdisciplinary team includes Educators, Therapists, Social Workers and Psychologists.

We are looking for a full time, suitably qualified and experienced person to work closely with the CEO and senior line managers to ensure the efficient management of general operations and administrative functions.

Key areas of responsibility will include OH&S and legal compliance, all aspects of the HR function, policy and procedure, insurances and community communications. Beyond this, the role will be responsible for driving change and supporting the growth and development of the organisation.

The successful applicant will be a strong team player who is already at the management level, is community focussed and skilled in policy and procedure development.

Essential Criteria:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Experience with community based operations
  • A flexible approach to service planning within a culturally diverse community
  • Knowledge of, and experience in OH&S compliance
  • Experience in all aspects of Human Resources
  • Creative ability to conceptualise, following through to project completion
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
